The northeast.net.au project is provided by the Family First Party (FFP) as a business and community support service. This web site is managed by Mark Potter, who is the Family First Community Coordinator for the Adelaide north east region.
The north east plays host to a significant part of the State's small businesses, which also makes it the major employer in the region. FFP believes that small business is the engine room of the economy and whereas big business is actively investing in technology to reduce its workforce, small business has enormous potential for employment growth. Mark Potter and the FFP are dedicated to work with business, community and government leaders who share a commitment to the development of the north east region.
The aim of northeast.net.au is to provide:
A comprehensive 'whole of community' website dedicated to the promotion of the northeast as a great place to live, learn, work and explore.
A vital connection point between schools, community groups, businesses and individuals.
A means of ensuring that all the activities, services, benefits and opportunities of living in the north east are fully known and available.
Our desire to support and strengthen local community life is connected to our aspiration for Australia to be a strong, stable and inclusive society in which every person is given the opportunity to participate and belong.
